Week one is in the books! This past weekend, over 2,500 young soccer players, volunteer coaches, and referees took to the fields across Pasadena and La Cañada to play their first games of the new soccer season.
As we head into week 2, there are a few changes to the game schedule. Coaches of affected teams have been notified, but you can double-check schedules here. Scores from week 1 games are entered into In-League and standings for competitive divisions will post in week 3.
If your player is looking to learn new moves, get extra practice, or targeted goalkeeper training, Sunday Skills is for you!. These FREE sessions are run by professional coaches from Launch Sports. Each age group is divided into smaller groups, and players can join groups with their friends. All ages are welcome.

Letter from the Commissioner
Hi ⚽️ Families,
Like many of you, I spent time last Saturday at Victory Park, and what I saw was amazing: Volunteers who arrived at 7am to help set up tents, goals, and signs. Parents turned out in coach shirts, referee uniforms, and weekend attire, ready to coach, referee, and cheer. Kids in soccer uniforms smaller than I thought possible arrived with water bottles in hand and soccer balls at their feet, ready to join their new teams. All day long, I heard laughs, cheers, and whistles blowing. It was… amazing. This scene played out at fields all across the greater Pasadena and La Cañada area, as the 2,000 kids in Region 13 were able to play soccer, thanks to every one of you. I am so proud to be part of this Region. I can’t wait to see you out there on the pitch this Saturday. If you’re at Victory Park, be sure to stop by and say hello. Welcome to the soccer season!
—Patrick Shopbell, your volunteer RC
