More soccer opportunities

Save the date: Sunday Soccer Skills Clinic & Pickup Games

Sunday Soccer is included with your AYSO membership, and provides an opportunity for players to develop their skills and love for the game during the fall season. Whether your player is looking to learn new moves, get a little extra practice, take part in targeted goalkeeper training, or just wants to play soccer with friends. Usually this will be on Sunday afternoon. Stay tuned for details.

NEXT is a new program for 10U, 12U, and 14U players looking to level up during the fall core program. You'll play friendly games with other enthusiastic players on Sundays and participate in AYSO tournaments throughout the area. NEXT will inspire dedicated players to strengthen bonds with teammates, challenge themselves in competitive tournaments, and deepen their love for the game.

All-Stars & Thanksgiving Tournament

Players  in10U, 12U, & 14U from the Fall program are invited to try out each October to play on teams representing Region 13 in the Thanksgiving Tournament (Nov 24–26) and All-Star season (Jan–Feb ‘24.)

Strong Showings by Tournament Teams

Region 13 teams competed in a pair of preseason tournaments in August. Congratulations to the 2011 girls team, Rose City FC coached by Adam Weirman and Caryn Fields, who took 2nd in the Camarillo Cup Club Invitational. The 2014 boys, coached by Luke Powers, and 2012 boys, coached by Bret Nicely, went to the Battle at the Beach. The 2012 boys squad narrowly missed out on qualifying for the championship game, finishing with the 3rd most points in group play. Great job to all the tournament team players!
