We're swinging into October and counting the leaves until Halloween!
At a glance:A small fraction of your time goes a long way towards making a better experience for our students. Please see our Volunteering page for more information on how you can help. We still need smart and empathetic folks like you for Cultural Night Chair, Advocacy Chair, and National Geographic Bee Chair (for the Spelling Bee). And if you missed Curriculum Night then you can still find information on it here.
Remember to check out our PTSA website at rmsptsa.org, and the RMS Facebook page - all of which will be updated with the latest PTSA news, programs and information. Send questions, concerns, comments or your favorite literary quotes to board@rmsptsa.org.
From all of us here at the PTSA, thanks for reading! And now... on to the good stuff!

Please remember, to volunteer in school, it is a REQUIREMENT to be LWSD-Volunteer-Approved. This is for the safety of our students and staff. Approval status of each volunteer is verified prior to every event. The easy online application only takes 5-8 minutes and all you need is some personal info and an electronic copy or picture of your photo ID. However, it can take a week or more to receive your approval. Volunteer approvals are valid for two years. If you need to apply for approval for the first time or renew your approval, please submit your application as soon as possible by filling out the online application. For more information, visit the Volunteering in LWSD page on the district’s website. There you can learn about the application process, check if your previous approval is still valid, plus other volunteer opportunities within LWSD.
