Feb 6-10 is National School Counseling Week.
The Redmond Middle School Counseling Department provides a comprehensive and equitable professional school counseling program supporting the academic, career, and personal/social development of each student to prepare them for success in high school, other future educational opportunities, the global workplace and in their personal lives.
The RMS PTSA wants to thank all our counselors for their dedicated, hard work to all the students in our community. Thank you! Families, please encourage your students to drop their counselor a note and let them know how much we all appreciate their support.

Kids Coming Together February Events

Kids Coming Together February Events Kids Coming Together community service events are great opportunities for children grades 3-8 to meet new friends and connect with their community. Advocacy Week February 6-10 starts tomorrow! Sign up to receive Action Alerts for quick and easy online actions to advocate for bills that will advance WSPTA's Top 5 legislative issues.
Advocacy Day will be held in Olympia on Monday, February 20, 2023 (President's Day). All students and families are invited to attend.
There will be a tour of the capitol, speakers, activities for kids, and opportunities to meet with legislators.

Redmond 2050 at the Library

Join the Redmond 2050 planning discussion at the Redmond Library on Wednesday, February 15th from 4-6pm.
Every 3rd Wednesday of the month, planning staff will share the latest updates with the community, and attendees can provide feedback on upcoming topics and policies.

Congratulations RMS Science Teams |
Redmond Middle School science club, NSB Team One, placed 2nd at the 31st BPA Regional Science Bowl held at the University of Portland on January 28th, 2023.
Congratulations to team members: Advait Badrish, Katherine Liu, Parthiv Mothipati, Shreyas Rathi, and Siddarth Shankar.
Redmond Middle School sent a total of three teams to the tournament.

The 18th Annual Children’s Film Festival Seattle comes to Northwest Film Forum (1515 12th Ave, Seattle) and streams virtually from February 3–12, 2023!

RMS Health Room Needs Your Support!

Our health room needs snacks and other supplies to help support our students during the day.
Please visit our RMS Health Room Amazon Wish List found here to purchase needed items. Alternatively, you can also purchase individually wrapped supplies from Costco.
The health room is in need of snacks such as Goldfish, protein bars, granola bars, and fruit snacks.
You can ship directly to the school or drop them off at the front office.
Thanks for your support! These supplies help ensure that our children are able to focus and be comfortable during the day.
