Greetings to All as we celebrate the Paschal Mystery this Easter. There is so much to say when we encounter resurrection and rebirth. Our April showers have been plentiful, and promise a burst of color this Spring!. Plans for us to get together this year are promising the rewards of union with those of like hearts. I leave you with this from Fr. Thomas, for now.
The Theological Basis of Centering Prayer Where does Centering Prayer come from? Its source is the Trinity dwelling within us. It is rooted in God’s life within us … With baptism comes the entire uncreated presence of the most holy Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We participate as human beings in God’s life just by being alive, but much more through grace … This stream of divine love that is constantly renewed in the life of the Trinity infused into us through grace. We know this by our desire for God. That desire, however it may be battered by the forces of daily life, manifests itself in the effort that we make to develop a life of prayer and a life of action that is penetrated by prayer. "And so the essence of practice is this being or walking or doing in the presence of God, which is also doing nothing. So whether we are active or passive, we’re always in the Presence. We know that it’s inescapable and we're willing more and more to let go of our preoccupations and to let God be God in us."

Contemplative Outreach is a spiritual network of individuals and small faith communities committed to living the contemplative dimension of the Gospel. The common desire for Divine transformation, primarily expressed through a commitment to a daily Centering Prayer practice, unites our international, interdenominational community. Let us revisit this past edition together. Recall the recent past, our journey since, and where we find ourselves in 2025. We will have time to share. Perhaps March 15th, 2025 during United In Prayer time.
