Instagram worth following: Inspiration is everywhere, but these pages are my personal source of inspo:
@pottershousemallorca - A page with a series of serene interior and outside spaces, charged with atmosphere. Bringing together makers and artists to explore their practices in Mallorca.
@urth - Magazine/store/art - A community of creators inspired by earth.
@viancasoleil - An interior designer who bought a little island in the Philippines.
Favourite place to swim: I will always prefer the sea over a pool or lake. In Mallorca, there is a beautiful cala around every corner. My personal favourite last summer was
Delta - a 5 min trip from home.
Favourite restaurant: Your website is already filled with good restaurants, but still one missing: go to
@enoteca1918 in Santa Catalina. The food is amazing <3
Favourite bar, cafe or bakery: When I lived in Palma center, I found a good bar or bakery on every corner. Now I moved out of the city and enjoying the cosy casa life.
Who is making a product we should know about: @ceramicsmim - Handmade ceramics from Mallorca, absolutely beautiful.
@askaplaskocinska - A talented photographer who captures people, looks, and feelings.
@whitneyruzzi - For those who love art and private art lessons.
Best month of the year on Mallorca: October is by far the best month of the year. The wind and water are still warm, the island gets a bit more quiet. Perfect period to spot turtles and snakes.
What is your favourite town in Mallorca: Santa Eugenia - A little town 15 minutes from Palma where I am gonna build a studio in the middle of the countryside.
The studio will be a place for creatives to hold exhibitions and workshops. A truly inspiring and calming site in de middle of nature. You can follow that journey on our brand new page
@the_parcel_mallorca Whats your favourite hotel on the island: @cap_rocat I never stayed at this hotel, but it’s worth a visit just for the placement, views and energy. The architecture is really inspiring.
You can have a lunch/dinner at the seaclub, or a spa experience between the old walls of the fort. Visiting this beautiful place gives a lot of calm and positive energy, I would recommend 100%
What is one other secret/great tip about Mallorca that you'd like to share with our readers: Take random trips, don’t plan anything. The island is full of surprises. One day we went for a hike in Bunyola, we came across an old monk’s house build in the mountain walls. The place was full of beautiful giant peacocks. They were on the roof, the gate, dozens and dozens of peacocks surrounding us. It was one of the most beautiful things and sounds I experienced on the island.
