This year’s screening features eight powerful films—Abgad Hawaz by Robin Riad, Out of Gaza by Seza Tiyara Selen & Jannis Osterburg, Blood Like Water by Dima Hamdan, A Tangled Web Drowning in Honey by Tara Hakim & Hannah Hull, Aliens in Beirut by Raghed Charabaty, Palcorecore by Dana Dawud, I Never Promised You a Jasmine Garden by Teyama AlKamli, and Don’t Take My Joy Away by Omar Gabriel.  🕊️Welcome to Aubin 🤗

We’re excited to welcome an unexpected new intern to Aubin Pictures — Dawn, a mourning dove who flew in through an open window and immediately caused a bit of chaos by terrorizing our editor (who is still recovering). Dawn is currently studying at Wingston University, where she’s focusing on coo-mmunications and documentary filmmaking. Her interests include perching judgmentally near the edit lab, sitting on power lines contemplating narrative arcs, and generally keeping things light and airborne around the office.

Look. I’ve only got two words: Transmasc. Strippers. 👯
It’s Pride Month, and these people are doing it right—with a night of mystery, movement, and masked trans joy. Be there or regret it forever.
