Take Action: Stand with Logan Rozos |
We’re outraged that NYU is withholding the diploma of Logan Rozos, a Black trans student, after he spoke out against the atrocities in Palestine during his commencement address. His speech, which was met with a standing ovation, was a call for justice, yet the university is now threatening disciplinary action.
This is an attack on free speech and a clear failure to support students speaking up for human rights.
Please email NYU administrators: Tell them this is unacceptable and demand Logan be awarded his diploma.

“...this is, indeed, poetry.”
“...feels like both a provocation and a request to consider what flourishing looks like in this chaotic moment — for Black Americans, and for anyone who finds themselves drowning, struggling to breathe.”
“...the movie suggests freedom is something you can experience while also working toward freedom’s creation. Artists know that for sure — ‘Meanwhile’ aims to make it clear to everyone.”
“A gorgeous, quietly energetic, and moving meditation” - Brittany Turner
"Somehow, Meanwhile takes the heady and cerebral assessment of the country at large and turns it into a deeply emotional and heartfelt tapestry” - Frantz Jerome

A Georgetown Student’s Tour of Aubin Pictures ⚽ |
"I really enjoyed visiting Aubin Pictures and meeting the team! As a film minor at Georgetown, I’m interested in all things film related but I am also specifically interested in social justice filmmaking. As a student athlete, I think film could be a great medium for inspiring change and equality in the world of female sports!" - Esme

This essay+music "features a new sound work by musician JJJJJerome Ellis and a text by writer Diana SeoHyung, both reflecting on the theme of intervals—on languaging, language breaks, aphasia, riffing, and repeating." -Post/doc I went to their concert/reading/talk and it was really beautiful.

Required Reading Sherrilyn Ifill: "The Next 100 Days Will be Harder. But We Can Do It (in two parts)" |
This two-part essay reflects on how Americans have resisted the democratic erosion of Trump’s first 100 days and outlines a roadmap for the even tougher days ahead. It’s both a sobering assessment and a call to action for those committed to justice, equality, and democracy.
