I finally feel that I am getting ready for Christmas......
As you are aware Dave and I bought a Château with a view to offering Arts and Crafts retreats in July 2025.
Some months ago we started renovating the Grand Salon to get it ready for our first Christmas in the Château. We finally managed to get the Grand Salon sorted so we could take a break and celebrate Christmas. After months of hard work was it worth it….
From dealing with mould and water damage, to learning how to wallpaper and upcycling, to the final stages of creating decorations and decorating the room! It has been a huge task, but we have loved it!
Although there are some finishing touches to complete the room, we definitely think it was worth it! Wouldn't you agree!
