Start of year Kick Off
We need about 15-20 parent volunteers for the first day of school to help pass out schedules. The PE staff has asked for 1-2 volunteers at the start of each period on Day 2 to help with T-shirt distribution. This will be a great way to meet students, other parents and be a part of the first days of school activities.Please review the available slots on the Sign-Up Genius

RMS Health Room Snack Drive RMS is accepting snack donations for the Health Room. Please review the Sign Up Genius and contribute if you can. We know that fueling children with the appropriate foods helps support their growth and development. When kids don’t get enough to eat, they can’t concentrate, and they can’t learn. Help RMS students by bringing snacks to drop off at an Open House August 30-September 1.

Redmond Middle School PTSA Treasurer position is open
This year, we are very short handed and have several open board positions, including Treasurer. Without a treasurer, our PTSA is not in compliance with state law and is at risk of being dissolved.If you are able to help or know anyone who can, please email us at president@rmsptsa.org. RMS Drama is Beginning Soon! This year's musical production of Beauty and the Beast, Jr. is coming soon! Participation is open to RMS students in any grade level. If your student is interested in participating, one parent must attend the MANDATORY PARENT MEETING on September 22nd at 7pm at RMS. We hope you all had a great summer. Redmond Middle School PTSA’s mission is to support, engage, and advocate for our students, staff, and community. We are dedicated to creating a welcoming and accessible academic community through our programs, activities, and financial support.
Help us fulfill this mission by signing up EARLY for PTSA membership, indicating your volunteer interest, and more, all online. Many companies also offer employees match program. If you or your spouse work for one of these generous employers, you may be able to DOUBLE your donations. Scholarships for Membership
RMS families have donated membership scholarships for families and staff facing financial challenges. They hope you'll join! Scholarships are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis with NO APPLICATION PROCESS. Simply choose the "Scholarship" product during the "Join" process.

RMS Students Need a Reflections Chair!

The Reflections Program is a National PTA arts competition. The 2022-2023 Theme is "Show Your Voice!" However, RMS PTSA does not have a chairperson to head up the program this school year. If you like art, or have a student that wants to participate, or just want to help out, contact board@rmsptsa.org to volunteer for the position or to get more information. This position can be shared by more than one person! |
Parent Square is Live! Lake Washington School District (LWSD) is excited to announce that we have adopted a new form of school-to-home communication called ParentSquare. This unified communications platform is designed to keep families informed and encourage greater engagement and connection with LWSD.
