Our Redmond Middle School Staff is AMAZING! To show them just how much we appreciate their hard work, the PTSA would like to host a November Thanksgiving Pot Luck Luncheon.

To make the luncheon a success, we need your help! Please pick out your favorite recipe to make, purchase a food item or volunteer to help with clean-up. Food can be dropped off at RMS between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Friday morning. Staff lunches begin at 11:30 a.m. so please have your food at RMS by 10:30 a.m. Please remember to label food dishes with your name and a brief description, including any potential allergens.

RMS will be be having an After School Social on Friday, November 4th from 6 p.m.-8 p.m.! We need at least 12 parent chaperones to help with supervising students to make sure they stay within the expected bounds of the event and that they are practicing appropriate behavior. Please remember that you must be an approved LWSD volunteer.

Theme: Show Your Voice!
DUE DATE FOR RMS SUBMISSIONS: Monday 10/31/2022
Digital Submissions Only: Email project and electronic entry form to reflections@rmsptsa.org by 8:00 p.m.

For all entries:

• Please make sure that you have read and complied with all of the rules for the category to which you are submitting.
• Please make sure that your artist’s name/initials are NOT INCLUDED ANYWHERE on the artwork (unless instructed by category specific rules) or the entry will be disqualified.
• Please make sure that the entry form/consent form are filled out COMPLETELY.
• Only one student may submit an entry (no collaborations).
• A student can submit a maximum of one entry per category, but a student may enter multiple categories.
• If people other than the artist are featured in the entry, assure that completed PTA Reflections Consent Form is attached to it.

Friday 11/4 – Neon Day – Wear your brightest neon colors

A note about costumes: please note that blood, gore, and weapons of any kind are not permitted due to safety. Additionally, please no full masks, make-up, or costumes which obscure the face.

Season 2 Sports is rapidly approaching. RMS are excited to offer to our students Badminton and Co-Ed Soccer.  

Speaking of soccer, RMS is in need of soccer coaches!!! The season runs from October 21^st – December 15^th. Practices are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 2:45 p.m. – 4:15 p.m. If you, or someone you know, might be interested in coaching for RMS, please email our Athletic Director Rathan Mahendran @rmahendran@lwsd.org.

Hello families! We would like to inform you all about the Fall Social which is right around the corner. Students must show their Student ID card with purchased Social Sticker at the door. No student will be allowed in without these two items. Students should plan to attend the entire event. If a student must leave early, an authorized family member will need to enter the school and check out with Mrs. Swiftney or Ms. Hornung.

Finally, all students should be picked up promptly at 8pm.  If you have any questions, please contact kamorris@lwsd.org.

Fall Social Friday, November 4th, 6 p.m.-8 p.m. The theme is Neon! Activities include dancing, sports in the gym, karaoke, party games, and a photo booth. Tickets are $5 with ASB card, $7 without ASB, cash only, exact change please! Tickets on sale Tuesday 11/1-Thursday 11/3 during lunches. All tickets are pre-sale only. No tickets will be sold day of, or at the door of the event. Bring cash to buy snacks at the event.
